The Washington Design Center and HOME & DESIGN present “a summer house,” the spring 2007 Design House. Featuring the collected inspirations of eight leading designers,“a summer house” Design House hopes to evoke feelings that befit a vacation home or waterside retreat.
In celebration of the Design House debut,an Opening Party cocktail event will be held on Thursday, April 19, 2007 from 6–8 pm. Register online for the opening party or call 202.646.6114. The house will open to the public on Friday, April 20 and run through June 30, 2007.

The Washington Design Center plans to open a Designer’s Lounge in Suite 322. The Designer’s Lounge will serve as an added amenity to the many designer services provided at the WDC. Featuring refreshments, a conference area, work stations and natural light, the new Designer's Lounge will be the perfect place to work with customers or just relax.
