Fine Design Highlights

June 12-14, 2006
Fine Design, the residential furnishings component of NeoCon® World’s Trade Fair, proved once again to be a “must-attend” for both residential and commercial designers. Renowned keynotes, exciting showroom events and openings, and the plethora of executives and representatives at hand gave the Design Center an extra buzz during the three days of NeoCon.

Charlotte Moss, Charlotte Moss Interior Design, spoke about her stunning new collection of fabrics, wallcoverings and furniture featured at Brunschwig & Fils, Suite 6-121. She is shown above with Thomas Peardon, Brunschwig & Fils, and John Brennen, Merchandise Mart Properties, Inc. (MMPI).

Callard & Associates welcomed a multitude of top designers throughout NeoCon’s Fine Design including Anya Larkin, Ltd., First Editions Wallcoverings, J. Becker Studios, Carolyn Ray, Ltd. and Van Es Designs. Above: Susan Spalding, MMPI, Andy Hirschman, Peg Callard and Steve Bird, Casella Lighting.

JANUS et Cie hosted a cocktail reception in celebration of their brand new Chicago showroom opening of luxury indoor/outdoor furnishings in Suite 1876. Interior design giants, along with Interior Design magazine, were invited to a luncheon at this exquisite setting!

Banners from numerous luxury Merchandise Mart and Design Center showrooms adorned the entryways.

Contemporary design’s “white knight”, Vicente Wolf, discussed his upcoming projects and was welcomed at a reception at Kravet, Suite 6-128.

Henredon, Suite 1865, made its largest product introduction in its 60-year history during the 2006 International Home Furnishings Market, and re-introduced it during Fine Design.
