NiBa owners Beth Arrowood and Nisi Berryman, inspired by the success of their smartly styled accessories and furnishings store, called on designers Doug and Gene Meyer to create their first collection of rugs. Like all important ideas, it was conceived on cocktail napkins but grew to encompass nearly 100 designs in four distinct groups, featuring both modern and classic motifs, as well as sumptuous textured solids. The rugs are made in Nepal using wool, silk and hemp fibers in more than 900 colors, resulting in rich and playful colorations.
