The creative genius behind the world famous Bellagio and Wynn hotels in Las Vegas, Thomas has the self-described distinction of being the only designer “that has overspent an unlimited budget.” His designs and over-the-top-luxury have mesmerized the world; from his breathtaking hotel projects, to his numerous nationally published private homes. Thomas has been selected to the Hospitality Design Platinum Circle and was recently honored as one of Architectural Digest’s Top 100 Designers. His presentation will take you through the creative process and execution of one of the world’s finest hotels, Wynn Las Vegas. He will share the interesting juxtaposition of how residential design has always been the core of his approach to hotel design; home is now influencing fine hotel design, and how in return hotel guests like to take “the hotel home” with them, whether it be bedding, bath, linens, or even his furniture from EF+LM. Thomas has designed a collection for Edward Ferrell + Lewis Mittman which can be viewed at the EF+LM showroom in suite 1870A.
