Merchandise Mart Properties, Inc. owns 6 buildings spanning 2.1 million square feet in High Point. Our properties include 300 permanent showrooms and 400 temporary showrooms.
The management and marketing of these buildings draws from MMPI’s nationwide expertise. High Point’s fulltime on-site team is comprised of 40 executives and staff. During market, 30 MMPI executives from around the country come to experience the market and personally interact with many of their customers who also attend High Point Market. They return home to share their knowledge with other showroom executives and colleagues.

- The Historic Market Square building, at 305 W High Street, is one of High Point’s most charming locations. Market Square features more upscale lines than any building in High Point including unique resources, premium fabric, upholstery, high-end decorative accessories
- Located adjacent to Market Square, the Suites at Market Square present the single largest selection of temporary exhibitors for the High Point Market and feature the newest resources for buyers.
- Located in the Hamilton-Wrenn district of downtown High Point, Hamilton Market offers high-quality, traditional furniture from America and Europe. Its new anchor tenant, Master Design, is a highlight among its 100,000 square feet of permanent showrooms.
- Plaza Suites is located in the Market Suites on Main and boasts a unique selection of upholstery, casegoods, decorative accessories and leather.
- Furniture Plaza stands in the heart of the market area in the Suites on Main. It is home to major manufacturers of promotionally priced upholstery, moderately priced casegoods, dining, motion and occasional lines. With 6 floors of showroom space, Furniture Plaza covers 313,000 square feet.
- Continuing MMPI’s dominance along Main Street, National Furniture Mart stands 9 stories tall and offers 259,000 square feet of showroom space. It features the industry’s best promotional and mid-priced furniture lines.

About High Point, North Carolina
The history of the High Point Market goes back to the early 1900s. In the early days of the 20th Century, over half of High Point’s factories were furniture firms and the city began hosting market weeks, during which retailers would visit factories to place orders.
Today, the High Point market garners its nearly 100 years of experience as the epicenter of the home furnishings industry to create a successful market twice yearly. The High Point Market attracts buyers responsible for 90% of the retail buying power for the U.S. residential furnishings industry.
