The Merchandise Mart celebrates commitment to environmental stewardship and innovation in sustainable design. The Sustainability timeline, printed with low-VOC eco-friendly VU inks and printed on salvaged glass panels, is featured on the first floor of The Merchandise Mart. The timeline celebrates many of the accomplishments of The Merchandise Mart, our showroom partners and the City of Chicago. Addressing global environmental challenges, the display highlights the product innovations, research findings and events of the last several decades that reduce our environmental footprint and make the world a better place to live.
