THE WASHINGTON DESIGN CENTER ANNOUNCES DESIGNERS FOR
FALL 2004 DESIGN HOUSE
9 Top Design Firms Articulate Trends in Areas Most Accessible Showhouse
[Washington, DC] – July 15, 2004 - The Washington Design Center is pleased to announce the participating designers for the Fall 2004 Design House interior design showcase, sponsored in conjunction with partner Southern Accents Magazine. The Gracious Room Design House is the sixteenth Design House developed over the past seven years as a showcase for local design talent and for the luxury furnishings and products available exclusively through Washington Design Center showrooms. Southern Accents returns as co-sponsor of the Washington DC area’s finest inspirational showhouse of top design and the worlds most luxurious products. The 4,000 square foot Design House is open to the public and design trade for viewing six days per week beginning Friday, September 24 through Saturday, December 18, 2004. Admission is free and a series of special events will offer visitors a chance to meet participating design teams one on one.
The participating designers and design teams for The Gracious Room Fall 2004 Design House include:
• Fiona Weeks, of Fiona Newell Weeks Interiors for the Entrance Foyer
• Sheree Friedman and Ricardo Ramos of Studio Nuovo for the Living Room
• Kelly Proxmire of Kelly Interior Design Service for the Dining Room
• Gary Inman & Eleanor Barton of Gary Inman Interiors for the Ladies Bedroom
• Victor Shargai of Victor Shargai and Associates for the Bathroom
• Hector Gonzales of Design Atelier of Old Town for the Master Bedroom
• Victoria Sanchez of Interiors by Victoria Sanchez for the Dressing Room
• Basha White and Corbin Volk of Basha White Interiors for the Study
• Stan Kelly of Stan Kelly Interiors for the Gentleman’s Retreat
Visitors will each receive a colorful program outlining the products used and the designer inspirations for each room of the house. This free program guide offers visitors a wealth of resources available at The Washington Design Center to build your dream home.
