2006 DEBI Award nominees announced

CHICAGO (March 31, 2006)— The National Bridal Market Chicago, the nations largest and longest-running bridal show, will be held at The Merchandise Mart Chicago, October 7-10, 2006 featuring the latest styles from the industry’s top manufacturers of bridal gowns, both moderate and designer, bridesmaids gowns and mother of the bride, flower girl, accessory, prom and special occasion resources.

Once again, The Distinctive Excellence in the Bridal Industry (DEBI) Awards®, produced by Merchandise Mart Properties, Inc. (MMPI) and the National Bridal Market Association (NBMA), will coincide with the Market. The DEBI Awards are regarded as the highest honor for excellence in design and manufacturing in the bridal industry. The nominees are recognized for their stellar contribution to the industry and selected based on their performance in the following areas: quality, service, salability and fashion leadership.

The 2006 DEBI Awards ceremony will be held on Monday, October 9, 2006 at Chicago’s historic and beautiful Field Museum. The black tie gala will begin at 7 p.m. with cocktails and hors d'oeuvres, followed by dinner at 8 p.m. and the awards presentation at 9 p.m. followed by dancing.
