SECOND ANNUAL TASTE OF “T” LIVING CELEBRATION

Celebrity Chefs and Authors Featured in Showrooms of

New York’s Ultimate Kitchen & Bath Resource

NEW YORK (Oct. 24, 2005) – The Architects & Designers Building (A & D) will once again be aglitter as chefs from some of New York’s finest restaurants and authors of books on design, lifestyle and food join with members of the interior design, home furnishings and culinary worlds in celebration of the second annual Taste of “T” Living event on Wednesday, Nov. 9 from 6 to 8:30 p.m. The evening’s activities, a part of the A&D Building ADvantage Series, are being presented in conjunction with The New York Times’ “T” Living, one of its Style magazines.

Twenty-two of the A&D Building’s showrooms will serve as hosts for the preparation and sampling of culinary delights, wine tastings and book signings. Among the participants will be world class chefs Dan Barber of Blue Hill at Stone Barns, Terrance Brennan of Artisinal and Picholine, Odette Fada of San Domenico, Tyler Florence, Kerry Heffernan of Eleven Madison Park, Sirio Maccioni of Le Cirque, Jacques Pepin, Marcus Samuelsson of Aquavit and Riingo, Deborah Snyder of Lever House, Andre Soltner of the French Culinary Institute and Frank Stitt of Highlands Bar & Grill in Birmingham AL.

Joining the chefs will be Christie’s Auction House wine specialist Justin Christoph and authors Samantha Ettus (“The Expert’s Guide to Life at Home”) Ed Levine (“Pizza, A Slice of Heaven: The Ultimate Guide and Companion”) and Lisa Yockelson (“Chocolate, Chocolate”).

A special feature of the evening will be a cooking demonstration by noted New York Times journalist Amanda Hesser, the editor of “T” Living. Hesser also will be signing copies of her latest book Cooking for Mr. Latte.

A portion of the evening’s proceeds will be donated to God’s Love We Deliver, the non-profit organization committed to providing meals to people living with HIV/AIDS, cancer and other serious illnesses.
