• Altro Floors also debuts Altro Prismatic Plus High-performance Safety Flooring, an economical and attractive multi-purpose, slip-resistant sheet vinyl flooring. Available in 15 fresh colors, it offers limitless design possibilities and exceptional value.
• Designweave Commercial Carpet unveils the Studio D Collection, providing any space with unique variation in texture, scale and pattern. All six products were expertly designed to coordinate in pattern, color and scale.
• ECOsurfaces Commercial Flooring presents ECOmax, made from high-quality, 100 percent recycled SBR tire rubber and colorful EPDM flecks. ECOmac modular tiles are designed for rooftops, patio walkways, pool surrounds and playground areas.
• Forbo Linoleum features Marmoleum Colourful Greys, containing 12 designs that have the same grade of saturation giving the collection a coherent look. Colourful Greys is an addition to the existing Marmoleum linoleum collection.
• Invision Carpet Systems introduces Edge, an exploded stripe with bands of cut and loop that create pattern from every angle. With a color palette of 12 exhilarating colors; this product is anything but ordinary.
• Johnsonite premieres Millwork Contoured Wall Base Collection, emulating the look of finely milled wood with greater resistance to scratches or nicks inherent in wood moulding. Millwork is a rubber base that includes 11 standard profiles and more than 130 colors.
• Lees Carpeting presents Life Elements Collection, the latest line of broadloom carpeting, also available in tile and 6-foot widths, bringing natural inspiration indoors. Created in collaboration with health care design professionals, the collection supports healing environments with a calming, spa-like aesthetic.
• Lees Carpeting also presents MotorSport Collection, contract carpet options that combine sleek aesthetics, technological innovation and quality craftsmanship. Developed in collaboration with DesignworksUSA, the California-based international strategic design consultancy owned by BMW Group, the MotorSport Collection is available in both broadloom and tile, and adds a subtle sophistication to contract spaces with its elegant colors and textures.
• Lees Carpeting also presents Robert Cox Sequences Collection, inspired by the balanced lines of architectural structures and the simplicity of natural forms, the collection addresses the need for modular floor covering aesthetics that foster comfort, stimulation and ergonomics in corporate, retail, education and public spaces. Available in both broadloom and tile, products within the collection share the same color line and offer unique, complementary textures and patterns that effortlessly coordinate.
• Lees Carpeting also presents WovenSquare MTX Collection. Capturing the vitality and energy of futuristic design, the collection creates powerful new aesthetic possibilities that blend the design friendliness, quiet and comfort of carpet with the texture of hard surfaces. • Mats, Inc. introduces Bolon, a woven vinyl sisal floor covering available in more than 50 beautiful colors and designs, from dramatic stripes to fun metallics. Bolon is stain resistant, remarkably low maintenance and completely unaffected by water or moisture.
• Milliken Carpet debuts Centro, a colorful, value-priced line of 36” modular carpets. Centro is streamlined but graphic, blending organics with geometrics for an interesting spin.
• Milliken Carpet also debuts Traction Back, a glue-free carpet backing that is the first of its kind. Traction Back reduces installation costs, enhances indoor air quality and allows flexibility in replacing and moving carpet tiles.
• Roppe Corporation introduces SafeTcork Tile & Tread, a blend of cork and rubber designed for interior use in high-traffic areas where slips are a concern. SafeTcork is easy to maintain and long-wearing.
• Roppe Corporation also introduces Visuellè Wall Base, a wall base that provides the look of custom-crafted woodwork with a top-lip design that helps the base fit tightly against the wall. The wall base is made from a TPR rubber blend that provides the appearance and natural beauty of wood.
Laminates / Decorative Surfaces
• Abet Group features Crossgrain Oak, offering the warmth and original look of natural wood with the high performance of laminate. The grain runs the 4-foot, not the 10-foot length, allowing the designer to clad a store fixture or desk front without a seam for up to 10 feet.
• Abet Group also features MEG (Material Exterior Grade), an exterior high-pressure laminate consisting of layers of kraft paper saturated with thermosetting phenolic resins. Bonded by heat and high pressure, the core and exterior color is all one piece.
• Abet Group also features Microline, a woodgrain with raised straight lines that give the illusion of the grain of fir. Available in three tones, Microline is one of 30 wood-like surfaces offered in Abet’s Legni line of woodgrains.
• Abet Group also features Naturali, an authentic, natural high-pressure laminate made without decorative paper. A product of pure HPL, Naturali is available in a bronze tone, which is the color of laminate before any additives, and is offered in four patterns: Mandarin (orange peel simulation), Muro (Tuscan stucco pattern), Magma (molten stone pattern) and Millerighe (horizontal line embossed pattern).
• Lamin-Art unveils Chrysalis, marrying the brilliance and texture of brushed metal with the simplicity and convenience of an HPL. A truly tactile experience, transcending the limits of laminates.
• Lamin-Art also unveils their Signature Collection, the designer’s private selection of 18 sophisticated wood and metal prints. Employing interwoven layers of metallic inks and iridescent particles, this eclectic collection features uncommonly deep, luminous and multi-dimensional patterns.
• Wilsonart / Reico announces all of its laminate floors have been Greenguard certified. The Greenguard certification gives independent assurance that the high-pressure decorative laminate products have minimal impact on the indoor air environment.
• Allsteel, Inc. debuts Sum, a task chair that makes ergonomics, functionality and style uniquely accessible to 90 percent of all chair users. In particular, its patent-pending, AutoFit™ technology provides the ultimate in comfort without the need for manual control levers to adjust lumbar support.
• Arcadia offers Motto, an overall modern angular design with a signature fixed arm as well as front and back stitching details. Motto amounts to everything tangible in an executive or conference chair – performed with subtlety and sensibility.
