IN THE ARCHITECTS & DESIGNERS BUILDING
New Showroom Features Unique Italian Glass Sinks and Vanities
New York, NY (Sept. 1, 2005) – Euro Design Interiors (EDI), a top US representative for the Artelinea collection of colored glass sinks and vanities from Italy, has expanded its base of operations to Manhattan with a new showroom in the MMPI (Merchandise Mart Properties, Inc.) managed Architects & Designers Building. EDI will officially celebrate the opening of its new ninth floor showroom on Wednesday, October 19th, joining in the inaugural festivities for A&D’s new kitchen & bath floor on ten.
Besides Atelinea, EDI represents other high-end designer bath and tile collections including Huppe’s innovative glass shower enclosures from Germany and Giaretta Italia’s porcelain mosaic tiles. With its new A&D Building showroom, EDI significantly expands the availability of its cutting-edge ceramic and bath products, which are ideally suited to the American market with its continental aesthetic.
Katherine M. Flaherty, vice president building products and special projects for Merchandise Mart Properties hailed the arrival of Euro Design Interiors. “This is yet another milestone in securing the A&D Building’s position as New York’s Ultimate Showroom Resource for Luxury Kitchen & Bath,” she said. “We are pleased to add ‘a touch of glass’ for the bath to A&D’s ever-expanding kitchen & bath collection.”
“After a decade of experience, we are thrilled to bring our unique selection of designer bath furniture and accessories, along with our extensive tile collection, to the A&D Building,” said EDI principal owners Michael Byrdin and Peter Garfinkel. “Our new location, in the heart of Manhattan, enables us to be in the forefront of the bath industry and showcase our solid-selling product lines to designers, architects and upscale consumers.
