Country Star to Perform at WithIt Tent Party Friday, October 21, 2005

HIGH POINT, N.C. (Oct. 17, 2005) – Capital Records recording artist Jamie O’Neal is scheduled to perform Friday, Oct. 21 at 6 p.m. at the Women In the Home Industry Together (WithIt) Fall Tent Event in the Century Courtyard of Market Square during the High Point International Home Furnishings Market® Oct. 20-26, 2005.

This country music singer-songwriter has had a pair of #1 hits - There Is No Arizona and When I Think About Angels – that both earned her Grammy nominations as a songwriter for Country Song of the Year. In addition, Arizona brought a third Grammy nod for Best Female Country Vocal Performance and The Academy of Country Music named her the Top New Female Vocalist. Currently her song Somebody’s Hero from her current album Brave is in the Top Five.

O’Neal sang on the soundtracks of Bridget Jones's Diary and When We Were Soldiers, and also on the upcoming Desperate Housewives soundtrack. She has appeared on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and The Late Show with David Letterman and toured with Reba McEntire and Martina McBride, and opened for Alan Jackson, Kenny Chesney and Toby Keith.
