NEW FURNITURE PRODUCT INTRODUCTIONS AWAIT RETAILERS AT THE OCTOBER 2005 INTERNATIONAL HOME FURNISHINGS MARKET® IN HIGH POINT, N.C., OCT. 20-26
HIGH POINT (Sept. 14, 2005) – Retailers attending the International Home Furnishings Market® in High Point, N.C., Oct. 20-26, 2005, will find hundreds of new furniture product introductions awaiting them in the world’s home furnishings capital.

The following is a sample of new furniture products that will debut in October:
• Ancient Mosaic Studios displays Narita Tabletop inspired by 20th-century Asian design.

• Bella Toscana LLC introduces Tuscan Furniture built in the Tuscan hills of Italy. These entertainment pieces are meant to give old-world character to wine cellars or entertaining areas.

• Blue Ocean Traders unveils the Hungarian Workbench, an antique workbench six to seven feet long and three feet tall, with a three-foot width.

• Catawissa/Baili Fine Arts & Crafts features pieces from its Japanese Shinto and American Mission collections, which combine American-made hardwood with handmade Chinese craftsmanship to create furniture worlds apart from the norm.

• Concordia Furniture showcases a new entertainment center called Series 6838 Java Finish. The entertainment center features illuminated glass doors, TV base, profiled tops and contoured fronts blended into a unique, contemporary design.

• Curzon Collection offers a new line of furniture and decorative accessories created with various skins, wood designs and natural fibers. The collection has a sophisticated and contemporary South African design.

• Environ Trading, Inc. unveils the Hampton Arm Chair, a new addition to the Hampton collection in the Island Breeze range of products, which is available in various weaves.

• Ficks Reed displays its new WeatherKing® Catalina seating and dining sets. The all-weather furniture includes Dri-fast foam cushions.

• Great Nordic Design reveals two new collections: G.A.D., a line of handcrafted, solid wood furniture with a modern design and Designer’s Eye, a contemporary collection of home textiles felted in New Zealand wool.

• Green Frog Art offers two new collections in juvenile furniture: The Williamsburg Collection and The Spinnaker Collection. Both collections contain a hand-painted juvenile table, chairs, toy chest and stepstool made of solid hard woods and veneers.

• Habersham Furniture Company introduces a new finish to its Approach Road Cabinet. The piece was designed with inspiration from the famed Asheville, N.C. estate.

• IMAX Worldwide Imports presents two additions: Embossed Club Table, a rich chocolate brown faux-leather table and Tweed Table Lamp, a lamp with a dark, sculpted wood base and tweed-like shade.

• Jeffan International debuts two new products, Buzz cocktail table and Buzz U Coffee Table. Both tables are handcrafted from Indonesian abaca fiber.

• LC Creations premieres two new designs, Castle and CarCrazy. Artwork created from the non-profit Save the Children organization is used to create a fun line of children’s furniture.

• Marshfield Furniture offers a new design called 2366 Granite Peak Chair & Storage Ottoman. The big, bold and distinctive Granite Peak style is enhanced with a “woodlands” collection of fabric combinations.

• Matamba USA, Inc. introduces Rustic and Ethnic Furniture and Accessories. Furnishings are crafted of solid woods indigenous to South American forests. Accessories are finished with local, natural fibers.

• New World Trading introduces the Spanish Heritage Barstool, the barstool that launched 1,000 margaritas; the Lucia Chair, a hand-tooled leather chair that relives old Spain; the Classico Ottoman; and the Hand-tooled Leather Chaise, a bench that could fit in a southern estate, California hacienda, Texan ranch or mountain hide.

• Opus Designs displays a new line of Youth Furniture available in a large selection of styles and pieces.

• Padma’s Plantation debuts two new products: a bamboo coffee table, made of bamboo poles with a wood top and base, showcasing the wild nature of texture of the bamboo by contrasting it with the clean, contemporary lines drawn back by the black wood top and base; and the Amorphous Bench, a new item to the existing collection that includes the Amorphous Coffee Table and Amorphous Console. It features a raw and primitive shape of a woven top with the clean lines of a stand made of bamboo.

• Palatial Furniture unveils Morgan Chaise, a lounge collection available in many leather and finish options including antique, hand-wiped, tuffed leather.

• The Red Button Table Company reveals its new collection of juvenile furniture named The Red Button Table Line (Grandmother’s Tables). These solid oak tables promote fun and communication with pocket curtains, unique stationery and secret mailboxes meant for sharing.

• Run Run Studio introduces City Settee, a three-piece settee made of forged iron and ultra suede. Clever design allows pieces to be pushed together or apart to form a conversation niche of two chairs and a small stool.

• Telescope Casual Furniture presents eight new collections of outdoor furniture in a variety of materials and designs. Five new seating collections will be introduced: Alfresco Cast Collection, Aruba Cushion Collection, Cape May Cushion Collection, Primera II Sling Collection and Savona Wicker Collection. The company also has three new tables – a 50”-round Laminate Top Dining Table, 54”-round Cast Aluminum Dining Table and 64”-hexagonal Aluminum Slate Dining Table.

• Timmerman Manufacturing, Inc. introduces the No. 60 Hall Tree Bench, a storage solution for umbrellas, canes, caps, hats and wet clothing or shoes. Also new is the No. 48-S, a swivel barstool in a variety of metal finish colors and fabrics. Both products are made in the United States with heavy, hand-forged steel.

• Trade Winds Furniture presents the Chesapeake Collection, which includes a tri-panel mirror, storage bench, vanity and bench. Each piece is hand finished and distressed using kiln-dried hardwoods and veneers for a distinct look.

• Vietnamese Fine Furniture for American Homes (VIFAH) introduces the Dao Dining Chair. Made from acacia and other woods such as pine, it is one of the most interesting designs in the Dao collection. The product is available in stain, wax or paint finishes.
