HIGH POINT (Sept. 16, 2005) – Retailers attending the International Home Furnishings Market® in High Point, N.C., Oct. 20-26, 2005, will find scores of new bedroom furniture product introductions awaiting them in the world’s home furnishings capital.
“The most bedroom introductions are made in High Point, and that historical trend just keeps expanding," said Tom Mitchell, senior vice president, High Point, Merchandise Mart Properties, Inc. (MMPI).
The following is a sample of new bedroom furniture products that will debut in October:
• Alfemo (Yatpa) A.S. presents a new elegant bedroom design entitled Retro.

• American Century Home Fabrics, Inc. debuts the Mirro-Denier Rayon Chenille Fabric collection, made from one of the largest mills in China. The company takes pride that it is one of the best direct sources for upholstery, fabrics and bedding.

• Artmosphere introduces a new bedding collection of hand-quilted, double-sided silk quilts. The silk creates natural warmth and gives any room a feeling of luxury.

• Denali Home by Monteray Mills debuts Denali Bed in a Bag. Various patterns and sizes can be customized to create the buyer’s ideal combination of Denali bedding.

• King’s Rattan, Inc. presents Manhattan Bedroom, a solid-wood bedroom collection with wood dovetail and four-way drawer construction.

• Wallbeds showcases the Hiddenbed, a disappearing bed with an ample workspace feature built in. If the bed is closed, it serves as a computer desk, craft center or play surface.
