At LuxeHome Open House
CHICAGO (September 5, 2007) —In celebration of October’s National Kitchen and Bath Month, the LuxeHome boutiques at The Merchandise Mart will present the newest products for the kitchen and bath at the LuxeHome Open House on October 6. LuxeHome, the world’s largest collection of luxury boutiques for home building and renovation, is where kitchen and bath design trends emerge and where consumers and designers alike can shop for and create the kitchen or bath of their dreams.
National Kitchen and Bath Month is the perfect opportunity for LuxeHome boutiques to unveil what’s new and hot in kitchen and bath products and offer consumers and the trade a trend-setting design experience sure to inspire and ignite their next kitchen or bath project. In addition to new products, the LuxeHome Open House will feature keynote speaker, Michael Payne, host and designer of HGTV’s Designing for The Sexes, plus inspirational presentations from top designers, guest lectures, product demonstrations, gourmet treats and beverages, plus more.

Listed below are highlights of the new products to be unveiled during the LuxeHome Open House on October 6, 2007.
• Ann Sacks – Suite 100-B
Ann Sacks introduces the new Sakura Tile, Iznik Tile, Antiquity Bronze and Luna Metal & Glass collections. Denise Siegal, an exclusive artist for Ann Sacks, will also host a trunk show with her newest bronze designs.
• de Giulio kitchen design. – Suite 121
Visit de Giulio kitchen design and see how classic kitchen interior design has been reinterpreted with the internationally-acclaimed BeauxArts collection. Experience the BeauxArts kitchen at work as they welcome Chef Pete Trusiak, corporate chef for The Westye Group, for a culinary demonstration on the Wolf Dual Fuel Range from 12:00-1:00 pm.
• Ernestomeda Chicago – Suite 128
The Ernestomeda Chicago showroom makes its debut at LuxeHome Open House and unveils its Barrique and Elektra designs for the first time to the public. In keeping with Barrique¹s homage to the great tradition of Italian winemaking, the “Taste Kitchen Innovation” event will feature some of Italy¹s finest vintages.
• Farrow & Ball – Suite 105B
Farrow and Ball presents the bold new wall covering collection, Special Edition I. An exciting contemporary adaptation of four classic Farrow & Ball wallpaper designs, Special Edition I comprises thirteen new and innovative colourways: Warm reds, dramatic blacks, chocolate browns and silver and gold metallics are combined across the four wallpaper designs with style and flair.
• Granite & Marble Resources –Suite 115
Maestro Mosaics by Granite & Marble Resources unveils Tiffany-stained Glass Mosaics, a stunning and innovative collection of glass mosaics.
• Hastings Tile & Il Bagno Collection –Suite 120
View the debut of the Roma collection, which bridges the gap between contemporary and traditional design.
• Poggenpohl U.S. –Suite 138
Enjoy a presentation on the new and highly-anticipated Porsche Designed Poggenpohl "Kitchen for Men”, equipped with audio systems and an array of gadgets.
• Poliform –Suite 110
Poliform unveils its completely renovated showroom and presents the latest home accessories by famed designer Alessi.
• Smartrooms –Suite 119
Smartrooms introduces their latest styles of cabinetry doors featured in Esperanto, shown with diamond or scalloped insert, and Lewisburg raised door. Also available are new finishes including Antique Sienna and Country Linen.
• Studio Snaidero –Suite 140
Studio Snaidero brings their newest kitchen, recently launched in Italy, to their Chicago showroom. The Venus kitchen is sleek and modern.
• Valcucine Chicago –Suite 106
Be inspired in this new showroom filled with “green” design and sustainable materials. Valcucine Chicago places much of its focus on creating products with the lowest possible impact on the environment, and also designed to maximize functionality, ergonomics and safety. The company’s design and construction stands alone, with many components and products in its kitchen line not offered anywhere else.
• Woodharbor Home –Suite 130
Woodharbor Home, known for their custom, hand-crafted woodwork and fine, cabinetry and interior doors, unveils the latest collection of interior and exterior doors.
